Ekklesia

Ekklesia is the worshiping congregation on the New Hope Collaborative campus, and one of several organizations that share it.

Sunday gatherings are at 10:45 in the Sanctuary, with coffee and something to eat from 10:30. There is live music, a message from scripture, and programs for children and youth from birth through high school. It runs about an hour. Come as you are.

LGBTQ+ people are affirmed and included in every part of the church’s life, and women serve in every leadership role. Ekklesia is led by co-pastors. People come here from a range of traditions and convictions, and nobody is asked to have it all settled before they walk in.

The name is the Greek word for church, and it means the gathered people rather than the building — a useful thing to be called on a campus you share. At least a quarter of everything given regularly goes to work beyond Ekklesia’s own walls.
